Pune, June 4 -- Deputy Mayor Parshuram Wadekar of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) today alleged that the PMC has arbitrarily demolished the historic Hazrat Shamsuddin Dargah at Bopodi on the old Pune-Mumbai highway without any valid reason, without consulting local elected representatives and without completing the necessary legal procedures.
He warned that the civic administration would be held accountable in the upcoming General Body meeting.
