Kolhapur, March 8 -- A shocking incident took place in a college located in Gokul-Shirgaon in Karveer tehsil of the district, where a professor was arrested today for allegedly molesting a female student with repeatedly called her in his cabin.
According to Gokul-Shirgaon police, accused professor Saurabh Joshi, resident of Smriti Apartments in the city, repeatedly called and messaged the student. He called her to his cabin and misbehaved with her. The victim was residing in the city for studies.
Accused Joshi mentally and physically harassed the victim from November 2025 to March 4, 2026.
