Mumbai, April 26 -- In a significant anti-narcotics crackdown, police in the Mira-Bhayander area adjoining Mumbai seized drugs worth Rs 23.30 lakh over the past two days and arrested three individuals in separate operations, officials said today.

Investigations in both cases are currently underway.

According to Anti-Narcotics Cell Police Inspector Sameer Sheikh, sustained action has been carried out across multiple locations in the city targeting illegal drug activities. Acting on specific inputs, a trap was laid around 12:45 am on April 24 near Western Hotel, close to Tiara Hills Society in Mira Road. Two suspects were apprehended during the operation.
