Solapur, April 10 -- NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule today indirectly held leaders of the rival NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) responsible for the Baramati assembly constituency by-election not being uncontested.

She stated that instead of questioning her, queries about why the election could not be unopposed should be directed to leaders of the Ajit Pawar faction.

Ms Sule was speaking to media during her visit to temple town of Pandharpur, where she had gone for darshan of Lord Vitthal. She said she prayed for peace, prosperity and happiness for farmers of Maharashtra.
