Sangli, March 1 -- The Nationalist Congress Party-Ajit Pawar faction has set a new condition that it will extend support to a party which would agree to share the post of president of Zilla Parishad with it for one and half years, which could possibly increase chances of tension with ally the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Zilla Parishad.
In a meeting of NCP-AP held at the government rest house in Miraj town of the district, it was decided to give support to a party which would be ready to share the post of ZP president with it for a period of one-and-a-half-year. This condition is likely to be cause for tension with BJP.
