Nagpur, Feb. 23 -- In a major crackdown on narcotics trafficking, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of city police today seized 505 kilograms of ganja and dismantled an inter-state smuggling network allegedly operating between Odisha and Nagpur, officials said.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the ANTF team intercepted a truck near Mathani Toll Plaza in the Mouda area.
The vehicle was tracked using mobile location analysis before being stopped at the toll naka.
Upon inspection, officers recovered approximately 505 kg of ganja concealed inside the truck.
The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody and is currently being interrogated.
