Nagpur, May 9 -- Direct flight services between Nagpur and Doha will resume from May 21, bringing relief to passengers after a prolonged suspension. However, the sharp rise in airfares is likely to concern travellers.
Qatar Airways had suspended its direct Doha-Nagpur operations after February 27 due to escalating tensions in the Gulf region and security concerns following attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel.
The suspension, initially announced till March, was later extended first to May 15 and subsequently to September 15.
With the situation gradually improving and passenger demand increasing, the airline has now decided to restart flights from Doha to Nagpur from May 20 and from Nagpur to Doha from May 21.
