Mumbai, July 20 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for Mumbai and its neighbouring districts for July 21, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall, as rains returned to Mumbai today with light to moderate showers in several parts of the city after a brief break.
Heavy rain was reported from areas including Andheri, Bandra, Vile Parle, Dadar, Bhandup and Mulund during the day, while dark clouds continued to cover the city.
