Pune, May 20 -- In a tragic incident, a 7-year-old boy died after getting trapped in a lift while playing at Riddhi Siddhi Apartment in Nimbajnagar, located in the Sinhagad Road area of city.
The incident occurred last night, police today said.
According to the information received, the boy, Shivansh Shailesh Dhoot, had entered the lift while playing. After he pressed the buttons inside, the lift started moving. However, before it could reach the second floor, the lift suddenly got stuck. After quite some time, the residents of the society noticed the situation.
