Mumbai, May 22 -- Maratha reservation quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil today announced at his Antarwali Sarati village that he will sit on a fast unto death from May 30 if his demands on behalf of the Maratha community are not met and said that he would do so for the demands of the Maratha community.
Meanwhile, BJP leader and MLC Prasad Lad met Jarange at his village on behalf of the Fadnavis government. Jarange-Patil conveyed to Lad, his ultimatum to the Fadnavis government until May 28. Jarange-Patil stated that he will hold a press conference on May 28 at 10 am to announce his final course of action.
Speaking to media persons after meeting with Jarange-Patil, Lad said that he had a detailed two-hour discussion with him.
