Nashik, Aug. 4 -- A 60-year-old man is feared to have swept away after losing his balance while crossing a makeshift bridge over a river in Trimbakeshwar taluka of the district.
The deceased, identified as Soma Chaudhary, was returning to Ghodmani hamlet after attending a funeral ritual (Dashkriya Vidhi) at Kamatpada on Monday. While crossing the bridge over the Shendri river that flows between Ghodmani and Kamatpada hamlets under the Devdongri Gram Panchayat, he lost his balance and fell into the river.
