Mumbai, Nov. 3 -- The Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council today suspended the licence of Shiv Sena advocate Asim Sarvo for three months over remarks he made regarding the judiciary and constitutional authorities.
Sarvo, who has been actively associated with legal matters linked to the Shiv Sena party, will be barred from appearing in court or representing clients during the suspension period.
The disciplinary action was ordered by a committee headed by Advocate Vivekanand Ghatge, with Advocates Sangram Desai and Nelson Rajan serving as members.
