Mumbai, Aug. 11 -- Maratha reservation agitator Manoj Jarange-Patil today alleged that Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule threatened the Beed District Collector to issue a letter to show that he had not cancelled the Kunbi records which show the OBC status of Marathas in order to start a media trial based on the letter.
"In reality, Chandrashekhar Bawankule himself has cancelled the records and he has the support of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. This proves that the Fadnavis government is playing a trick to cancel the Kunbi records," Maratha reservation movement leader Manoj Jarange-Patil said at Kavathemahankal village today.
