Jalna, Aug. 27 -- Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil today launched a fresh campaign for reservation, beginning his march from Jalna towards Mumbai to press for the community's demands.

Addressing his supporters before the march, Jarange Patil appealed for complete non-violence, urging protesters not to retaliate under any circumstances. "Our agitation must remain peaceful," he said.

He revealed that Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil had reached out to him on behalf of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for talks.
