Pune, July 13 -- Every artist grows with inspiration and support from society and therefore it is their responsibility to give back, said internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer Kalaimamani Bala Devi Chandrashekar while addressing a programme organised by the educational institution FUEL here today.
She praised FUEL's work in enabling underprivileged women from both rural and urban areas to become self-reliant and reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the organisation's mission.
The renowned dancer further said she travelled from the United States to perform at the event free-of-cost in support of FUEL's efforts towards women's empowerment.
