Nagpur, March 5 -- A youth was allegedly stabbed to death by a husband and wife in Maharashtra's Nagpur district on Thursday over a suspected love affair, police said.
The incident took place around 11:30 am on the Khaperkheda-Koradi road.
The deceased has been identified as Sagar Wankhede, a resident of Sawangi village in Narkhed taluka of the district.
Police have taken Raju Gajbhiye and his wife Sonali Gajbhiye, residents of Khaperkheda, into custody in connection with the murder.
According to a preliminary investigation, Sonali and Sagar were reportedly acquainted since their school days and were allegedly in contact even after Sonali's marriage to Raju. The couple has two children.
