Pune, July 20 -- To commemorate the birth anniversary of late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and the observance of July 22 as 'Pure Indigenous Cattle Conservation and Promotion Day', the Ajitdada Pawar Indigenous Cow Research and Training Centre at the College of Agriculture, Pune, has organised a series of programmes from July 20 to 22.

Addressing a press conference here today, Associate Dean Dr Subhash Bhalerao said that the events will include a national symposium on sustainable indigenous cattle rearing, a grand indigenous cattle exhibition, health and blood donation camps, organ donation awareness programmes, technical demonstrations, and farmer-scientist interactions.
