Nagpur, Oct. 21 -- In a significant anti-narcotics drive under "Operation Thunder," the Nagpur police have seized a large quantity of ganja valued at over Rs 21 lakh.

The operation was carried out under the direction of Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Singal and the supervision of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime).

According to officials, the Narcotics Control Squad set up a trap late last night near Umar Farooq Masjid in Shivshakti Nagar, located in the Yashodharanagar area of Nagpur. During the raid, the team arrested one accused, identified as Mohammad Anwar Mohammad Ismail Ansari (38), a resident of Shivshakti Nagar.
