Nagpur, Sept. 1 -- : Four minor inmates escaped from a government remand home in Nagpur after allegedly breaking a window and fleeing from the premises, officials said on Tuesday.

According to sources, the incident came to light when staff members noticed the absence of the juveniles during a routine headcount.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the minors had broken a window to make their escape from the facility.

Following the incident, a search operation was launched by police and remand home authorities to trace the missing juveniles.
