Nashik, July 14 -- The city police have arrested four members of an alleged gang, including a woman, in connection with the alleged armed robbery of Rs 70 lakh in cash.
During the investigation, police recovered Rs 55 lakh in cash, weapons, and several identity cards purportedly linked to the union Home Ministry, the Railways, and the Income Tax Department.
According to police, an FIR (first information report) had been registered at Panchavati Police Station after Rs 70 lakh belonging to a Gujarat-based company was allegedly looted at gunpoint. The Nashik Crime Branch arrested four accused in the case.
