Mumbai, July 11 -- Four people sustained minor injuries after the driver of a BEST bus lost control on the wheel on SV Road in western suburb of Andheri and crashed into around 14 vehicles, including cars and an autorickshaw.
The bus veered into oncoming traffic during evening hours on Friday, hitting several two-wheelers and four-wheelers parked and moving along the stretch. Four people sustained minor injuries and were given medical treatment, officials said here on Saturday.
Soon after the incident, the BEST bus driver was taken into custody.
Driver Sahil Suryakant Sawant (30) was arrested by the DN Nagar police under charges of rash and negligent driving, while conductor Appa Kadam was also detained.
