Pune, Sept. 20 -- As many as 12 finalists in the final round of the 16th edition of the Sugam Sangeet Competition were declared winners and awarded with prizes here today.
In the below-40 age category, Vaishnavi Pagare from Nashik won the first prize, while Amey Taranikar secured the second position. In the above-40 category, Sanjay Lagu stood first and Chitra Pendharkar secured the second position.
Six students were selected for the final round in the student category. Om Patki of MIT College won the first prize, while Asawari Gudade of Pratibha College, Chinchwad, secured the second position.
