Buldhana, July 20 -- : In a heart-rending incident, a farmer and his son allegedly died by suicide one after the other in Maharashtra's Buldhana district, police said on Monday.
The incident took place late Sunday night at a farm near Jalka Bhadang village in Khamgaon taluka.
According to police, Santosh Harishchandra Gawande (50), a resident of Parkhed village, allegedly hanged himself from the iron frame of an onion storage shed in his field.
When Santosh did not return home till late at night, his son Akshay alias Vitthal Gawande (30) went to the farm in search of him.
