Mumbai, May 17 -- Maharashtra Legislative Council member Dr Neelam Gorhe today expressed grief over the demise of senior psychiatrist, author, and founder of the Institute for Psychological Health and Muktangan, Anand Nadkarni.
In her condolence message, Dr. Gorhe said she had a personal association with Dr. Nadkarni, who sensitively portrayed various aspects of the human mind through psychiatry, literature, theatre, and music. His books such as "Gaddhepanchvishi" and "Vishadayog" had received awards from the Maharashtra government.
She stated that his passing is a great loss to the fields of psychiatry and social service.
