Nagpur, March 7 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said there is no need for panic over reports of a gas shortage, asserting that the Centre has taken adequate measures to ensure sufficient supply despite disruptions caused by the Iran-Israel conflict.

Speaking to reporters at an event in city, Fadanvis said the central government is handling the issue of gas availability seriously and has initiated steps to avoid any shortage of domestic LPG cylinders.

He urged the media to avoid speculative reporting, emphasizing that the Centre is closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary steps.
