Ch. Sambhajinagar, April 17 -- A modern fire-fighting system designed to tackle emergencies in high-rise buildings was formally commissioned at the Ch. Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation headquarters here today.

As part of this upgrade, a multi-articulating water tower set capable of operating at heights of up to 36 metres has been handed over to the fire brigade.

The newly introduced system has been procured through funds allocated by the District Planning Committee and is expected to significantly enhance the city's ability to respond swiftly and effectively to fire incidents in tall structures. Officials noted that the equipment will strengthen operational capacity and improve the overall efficiency of emergency services.
