Ch. Sambhajinagar, April 18 -- The Bombay High Court's Aurangabad Bench has upheld the decision of the Beed Municipal Council to exclude joint venture (JV) firms from its e-tender process, dismissing a petition that challenged the move.

The court emphasised that judicial interference in administrative decisions remains limited and that the chairman is empowered under Section 58 of the Maharashtra Municipal Council Act to exercise administrative supervision.

The ruling was delivered recently by a division bench comprising Justices Vibha Kankanwadi and Neeraj P. Dhote.
