Mumbai, July 2 -- Maharashtra BJP Chief Spokesperson Navnath Ban today launched a scathing attack on Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, dismissing his claims about "Operation Lotus" and asserting that the BJP remains firmly rooted in its nationalist ideology.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP's state headquarters, B said the BJP works for the nation and not for political power. He alleged that during the two-and-a-half-year tenure of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, Sanjay Raut and the then ruling alliance repeatedly attempted to lure BJP legislators and targeted party leaders and workers through false cases. Despite these efforts, he claimed, not a single BJP legislator or worker abandoned the party.
