Chandrapur, July 3 -- : A general body meeting of the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation was marred by high drama on Friday as supporters of BJP MLAs Sudhir Mungantiwar and Kishor Jorgewar allegedly clashed inside the civic headquarters following the cancellation of the meeting.
The meeting was cancelled by Mayor Sangeeta Khandekar on Thursday after the civic administration cited legal issues arising from a pending dispute over the Congress group leader's post and a stay order of the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court on one of the agenda items.
