Maha: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh demand immediate implementation of Wage Code, Social Security Code

Pune, March 3 -- Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh all-India president, S. Malleshm, said that out of the four Labour Codes implemented by the central government, BMS has welcomed the Wage Code and the Social Security Code and demanded their immediate and effective implementation.

While addressing the gathering after inaugurating the 6th triennial convention of the Maharashtra Electricity Contract Workers' union held at Mahalaxmi Lawns here in presence of MP Medha Kulkarni, he also demanded that the central government declare a uniform "Minimum Floor Wage" across the country.

Additionally, he said, the union has demanded an increase in the pension fund and that the eligibility limit of the ESIC scheme be raised from Rs 21,000 to Rs 42,000. He menti...
