Mumbai, Apr 11 ( UNI) Maharashtra Minister for Women and Child Development, Aditi Tatkare today said that approval has been granted for 2,843 posts through external agencies, along with 2,21,328 posts for Anganwadi workers and helpers.Ms Tatkare stated that this decision will give a significant boost to the strengthening of the department.A review of the total number of posts in the Women and Child Development Department was conducted. Some posts were abolished, and 165 new posts have been added.As a result, a total of 8,669 regular posts have been approved for the department.
