Nagpur, Oct. 25 -- A major accident was averted today after an Air India flight bound for Delhi made an emergency landing at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur following a suspected bird strike. All 170 passengers on board escaped unharmed, officials confirmed.

Sources said Flight AI-469 took off from Nagpur on Friday at 6:38 pm. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot noticed abnormal engine vibrations and immediately suspected a bird strike. The pilot promptly contacted Air Traffic Control and executed a safe emergency landing back in Nagpur.
