Mumbai, Sept. 13 -- His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, the 50th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and Chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), today met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai and discussed matters of mutual interest and prospects for further cooperation.

The meeting took place during Prince Rahim Aga Khan's Mumbai visit from September 12 to 14, which forms part of his first official visit to India since he assumed the Imamat in February 2025.

He is visiting India from September 9 to 15 at the invitation of Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan.

Prince Rahim Aga Khan succeeded his father, Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, as the hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims in February 2025.
