Mumbai, July 3 -- The political standoff in Maharashtra has intensified following a fierce attack by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, who has levelled serious allegations against the BJP-led central and state governments regarding the administration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust and the handling of Mumbai's crumbling urban infrastructure.

He targeted the Ayodhya Ram Mandir donation process, questioning the integrity of the trust. His remarks follow statements by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale concerning alleged financial irregularities.
