Mumbai, March 1 -- At least 15 persons were killed and several others injured following a massive blast in an explosives factory at Katol in Nagpur district on Sunday.
The facility that was affected was an explosive manufacturing factory.
Nagpur district administration and police officials reached the spot.
Some casualties have been reported, but exact numbers are yet to be confirmed.
"Rescue operations continue, and experts are on the ground," Inspector General of Police Sandip Patil said.
SP Poddar, who was on the spot, stated a probe has already been initiated under senior officials.
