Mumbai , Aug. 17 -- Mahrshtra Police have arrested Akhtar Hussain Merchant an alleged associate of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar from Indira Gandhi International Airport, DelhiAccording to police, Merchant was intercepted by a special team of Mira-Bhayander Police soon after he landed at the airport. He was wanted in connection with a firing case registered in 2023 in the Mira-Bhayander area.
