Mumbai, May 14 -- Ten newly elected members of the Maharashtra Legislative Council were sworn in at Vidhan Bhavan here on Thursday.
Details of the ceremony were shared by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde through a post on social media platform X.
The newly inducted members included nine candidates who had been elected unopposed to the Maharashtra Legislative Council, along with one member who secured victory in a by-election.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar and several senior leaders and dignitaries.
