Pune, June 23 -- In a shocking twist to what was initially believed to be a trekking accident, police investigations have revealed that the death of a businessman's young son at Lohagad Fort was allegedly a planned murder, involving his fiancee.
Ketan Agrawal, son of a prominent industrialist, had reportedly fallen into a gorge while posing for photographs during a trek at Lohagad Fort.
The incident occurred on June 18, which was also the birthday of his fiancee.
At first, authorities believed that Ketan had accidentally slipped and fallen while taking pictures.
However, an investigation by the Lonavala Rural Police uncovered evidence suggesting that the incident was staged.
