Chennai, Aug. 6 -- The Madras High Court has granted an interm stay into the Rs 35 crore MLA bribery case, seen as a plot totopple the TVK government headed by Chief Minister Vijay, and has cancelled all the bail conditions imposed on former DMKMinister V.Senthilbalaji and his brother RV Ashok Kumar.
Passing orders on writ petitions filed by two arrested accused Sethuraj of Bengaluru and Kartik of Tiruppur seeking to transfer theprobe to the CBI, the First Bench of Chief Justice S A Dharmadhikari and Mr Justice G Arul Murugan restrained the Triplicane police from investigating the case till August 27.
