Chennai, Sept. 9 -- The Madras High Court today quashed the suo motu order issued by a PSJcourt ordering arrest and judicial custody of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in a SC/STcase and ordered his release forthwith.
Mr Justice N.Sathish Kumar quashed the suo motu order passed by the Principal Sessions Judge,Kanchipuram, who ordered the judicial custody of DSP M.Sankar Ganesh and ordered that he shouldbe released forthwith.
Further, the Judge directed the Registrar (Vigilance) to conduct an inquiry over the issue and submita report on September 23.
