Chennai, July 22 -- The Madras High Court on Wednesday dismissed petitions filed by Opposition DMK heavyweight and former Minister V. Senthilbalaji, also a sitting MLA from Coimbatore South Assembly constituency, and his brother RV Ashok Kumar, seekinga direction to the police not to harass them in the name of investigations into the Rs 35 crore ruling TVK MLA bribery case in an attempt to topple the government headed by Chief Minister Vijay.
In their pleas, they said they had already been granted conditional anticipatory bail in connection with the case involving TVK Uthangarai MLA Dr.N.Ilaiyaraja, and promised to comply with all the court-imposed conditions.
