New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- A day before US Tariffs against India are to come into force, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Electric Vehicles (EVs) made in India will be exported to 100 countries from today, starting a new journey 'Make in India, Make for the World.'Coinciding with Ganeshotsav beginning tomorrow, the Prime Minister said ''a new chapter is being added to India's 'Make in India' journey. This 'Make in India, Make for the World" is a big leap towards our goal. From today, Electric Vehicles made in Bharat will be exported to 100 countries,'' the Prime Minister said in an address at the launch of green mobility initiatives at Hansalpur in Gujarat.
