Lucknow, April 4 -- Four accused arrested in connection with a suspected terror module were produced before a special court in Lucknow on Saturday and have been remanded to five days of police custody.
The custody was granted to the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) for further interrogation.
The accused-Shakib, Vikas Gehlawat, Lokesh alias Papla Pandit, and Arbaab-were presented by ATS commandos, who sought their custody to probe deeper into alleged links with Pakistani handlers and a broader terror network.
The court accepted the request, allowing ATS to question the suspects in detail.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the accused had conducted reconnaissance in several cities, including Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and Aligarh....
