Lucknow, Oct. 23 -- A Chief Judicial Magistrate ( CJM) court in Lucknow on Friday rejected a bail application moved by Model Shraddha Dubey, accused in the murder case of businessman Shiva Sharma.
Shraddha's sister Rashmi Dubey and driver Tanveer alias Danish also received no relief.
Bail applications were filed on behalf of the three in the CJM court. The court denied bail, citing the seriousness of the crime. The accused will now appeal for bail in a higher court.
In the absence of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) on Friday, acting Chief Judicial Magistrate Alok Verma dismissed the three applications after a hearing. The court ruled that there was no basis for bail and that the crime was extremely serious.
