Lucknow, April 11 -- In a bizarre case from Lucknow's Mal police station area, a school teacher couple and a relative have been arrested for allegedly robbing a jeweler and his wife of Rs 5 lakh.
The incident occurred on Jehta Road in Kakarabad and was resolved following a detailed police investigation, officials stated on Saturday.
According to police, the accused have been identified as Danish Fatima, a teacher at Kali Charan Inter College, her husband Mohammad Afsar, a primary school teacher posted in Badaun, and Afsar's brother Mohammad Ajmal.
The trio, originally from Sant Kabir Nagar district, had been carrying out robberies and fraud by targeting victims with fake offers.
