Bengaluru, Jan. 22 -- Opposition leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy on Thursday demanded the immediate resignation of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, holding him responsible for the unruly behaviour of some Congress members who disrupted the Governor's address in the Legislative Assembly.

Speaking to the media at Vidhana Soudha, Narayanaswamy said the Congress party's hooliganism, which was earlier confined to streets, has now entered the House.

He alleged that some members attempted to physically confront the Governor during his speech, which has already been reported in the media, and condemned the act in strong terms.
