Bengaluru, Jan. 21 -- Karnataka Leader of Opposition and BJP leader R Ashoka on Wednesday alleged that infighting within the Congress party in the state has intensified, pointing to apparent contradictions between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar over a power-sharing agreement.

Ashoka stated that the ongoing tussle between DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah within the Congress is serious, leading to daily political statements. He noted that while Siddaramaiah has repeatedly denied any agreement, the Deputy Chief Minister maintains that a power-sharing deal was made and remains in effect.
