Bengaluru, July 4 -- LoP in Karnataka assembly, R Ashoka, today launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, alleging that the ongoing caste survey being conducted by the state government was nothing more than a "superficial, deceptive, and showy scam."

Taking to social media platform X, Ashoka questioned the legitimacy of the exercise, accusing the Congress-led government of misusing public funds and misleading the public under the pretext of ensuring social justice.
