Shimla, July 22 -- Leader of Opposition and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday, accused the Congress of attempting to politicise the NEET issue and alleged that the Himachal Pradesh government had failed to act against those responsible for examination paper leak cases in the state.
Thakur said the Centre had acted promptly after irregularities in the NEET examination came to light by handing over the investigation to the CBI, arresting the accused, conducting a re-examination and initiating legal proceedings against those involved.
