Visakhapatnam, Sept. 26 -- Visakhapatnam Range Inspector General of Police Gopinath Jatti on Saturday reviewed local body election preparedness, crime control, women and child safety, road safety and anti-narcotics measures with Superintendents of Police of six districts under his jurisdiction.
The review was conducted through a video conference with the SPs of Alluri Sitarama Raju, Polavaram, Anakapalli, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam and Srikakulam districts.
Jatti directed the SPs to identify sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations, monitor history-sheeters and habitual offenders, initiate preventive legal measures and expedite the execution of pending non-bailable warrants.
